3 Month Absence

Sorry for the delay. We have had a challenging past 3 months. Charlie has been one sick puppy. He had multiple illnesses back to back to back! I thought we'd never get passed the "ick."
First he a cough/virus. The doctor said we'd give him meds just in case. A few days into the amoxicillin, we were in Bay Minette and this happened:

Then it progressed...

 And continued to spread...

We didn't know if it was a reaction to the medicine, an allergic reaction to something on the farm, or something else (the allergist said it looked just like measles, but it isn't measles...that's comforting). The overall consensus is that he had a virus, which reacted with the amoxicillin, and caused a viral rash. We aren't supposed to give him penicillin based medications until he is 6 or so because they couldn't verify 100% that he's not allergic to it with the skin test.

So after that, Charlie was given more antibiotics because he tested positive for strep throat. The antibiotics didn't work and as soon as he came off the medicine, the strep was back. But this time, it came with a different rash. He had remnants of the old rash on his legs and then this bubbly, hot rash spread all over his legs and little bottom on top of the old rash. That was a "strep rash." Soooo, the strep was obviously worse, but we couldn't use amoxicillin, so they gave us something else that would hopefully kill the strep virus this time. THEN when that was over, he had bronchilitis and fluid behind his ears. More medicine and a breathing machine. I mean, the kid couldn't catch a break. We missed all of our kindermusik classes and I couldn't take him to the gym nursery because he was contagious. Luckily, David had a lot of time off at the same time of the sickness, so we were able to still each go to the gym and run errands without taking Charlie. The poor little boy was cooped up for so long!

We have had some fun between illnesses!!
Here is a quick summary of the past 3 months:
