Social Visits for Little Man

Part 2 sooner than expected because CHARLIE IS STILL NAPPING!! I cheated, he's in the swing. BUT this is the longest nap he's had in a while and he needs it, so I'm ok with it. I'll eat those words later, I'm sure, but oh well.

After Charlie's baptism, we visited with our sweet friends, the Smith family. Jason and Melissa were able to bring their sweet angel, Briley, home from the hospital before Christmas! She was 10 weeks early and is the strongest, most amazing fighter I've ever seen. She is already up to 5 pounds! We are so proud of her and continue to pray for her and her incredible parents every single day.

(darn apple, I'll learn to rotate pics one day) Briley fits perfectly in Charlie's lap!

Charlie is a man of many expressions. This is the face he makes when he does not have 100% of your attention:
So Daddy to the rescue, and Charlie turns to all smiles:

 Mommy's turn to entertain!

We headed to Bay Minette and Charlie LOVES the farm.  He also loves sitting on Daddy's shoulders and pulling hair :)

On to Birmingham just in time for Sands's birthday party. Kathryne is so creative and the train-themed party was incredibly stylish and original. Trains, stylish? Apparently so. Kathryne can teach pinterest a thing or too. I can't believe Sands is already 2!! He is so polite and thanked everyone after every single gift. I adore their family and look forward to Charlie and Sands growing up together!

Allison, whom I still refer to as Wilson, hosted a wonderful brunch for MBHS friends. It was so nice to catch up with friends and introduce them to my little man.

Cara and Caroline were in town (Cara from San Fran and Caroline from NYC) and we got together for lunch at Zoes. It was so fun catching up with these girls. It feels like we haven't missed a beat. I miss my friends! Charlie was sweet, despite the picture below!

Back in Auburn, we got to celebrate Mason's 1st Birthday!
Charlie (4 months) and Hollis (10 months).

We tried multiple times to get a pic with the birthday boy, but Mason and Charlie were way too busy and having way too much fun to stop and pose!

My little social butterfly is growing up so quickly!
